March 2006 Albermarle Event Review

The day kicked off at 10.00am, it was windy throughout the day but was still flyable providing pleasant flying while being a little eventful at times.

There was many flights throughout the day with many models and lots of flyers having a good laugh. The Tx control had a fair few number of transmitters in on the normal 35 meg and some 2.4GHz.

There were many clubs in attendance to this event, members from Chester Le Street, Washington, Teesside, Blyth and Newcastle clubs. The event went on with out a hitch for most of the day, apart from a certain petrol engine deciding to have an off day. There were a few photos taken but are ye to be submitted. Overall the day went very smoothly without any hitches, it was a great day with many flyers enjoying the day and having a smile and a giggle.
